Spring Things

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your Easter weekend. This blog post is dedicated to fun spring festivities to get into the spirit for Easter. Yesterday I looked at beautiful cherry blossoms in New Haven, Connecticut, which is the highlight of this post. For those of you who may not be familiar with cherry blossoms, they are pink flowers that grow on the Japanese cherry tree. Cherry blossoms are as beautiful as they are delicate, and I always make it a priority to visit them during the spring.

Another one of my favorite spring activities is coloring Easter eggs. In my family, coloring eggs together is a tradition since I was a little girl. I always choose the most vibrant colors, especially hot pink. This year my cousin and I decorated our eggs with stickers for an added touch. Pictured below are my Easter eggs for this year.
